What Ridge Pointe Estates is like
Ridge Pointe Estates is a new-construction community of one-acre home sites in McLendon-Chisholm, Rockwall County, ZIP 75032. It sits across FM 550 from McLendon-Chisholm City Hall, with builder sales offices on Sweet Tea Road just off State Highway 205. The city's August 2023 hearing notice describes the request behind it: rezoning a 99.544-acre agricultural tract, where the base zoning called for two-and-a-half-acre lots, to a planned development named Ridge Pointe Estates with 83 single-family lots of at least one acre.
Who built here
Two builders sell here. Toll Brothers announced the community in June 2025, said site work was underway, and opened its sales center at 109 Sweet Tea Road in October 2025. Toll's community page lists homes of 3,221 to 5,436 square feet with 4 to 5 bedrooms, one and two stories, 3 to 4 garage bays and nine floor plans, priced from $849,995 on the builder's site in November 2026. Windsor Homes sells from 110 Sweet Tea Road, lists 12 floor plans of 3,358 square feet and up with 4 to 5 bedrooms, and showed homes from $821,990 on its site in November 2026. Both builders describe the home sites as one acre. Neither page gives a total lot count or says how the lots are split between them.
Schools
Ridge Pointe Estates is in Rockwall ISD. Both builders list Pullen Elementary (Windsor gives the full name, Dorothy Smith Pullen Elementary), Cain Middle School and Rockwall-Heath High School for the community; Windsor also names the Rockwall-Heath 9th Grade Center. Zones are drawn by street and change as the district grows, so confirm the campuses for a specific address with Rockwall ISD.
The HOA
Windsor Homes' community page puts association dues at about $100 a month. We did not find the association's legal name on a public page, and neither the city's zoning notice nor the Toll Brothers pages name it. The name, dues, deed restrictions and any transfer fees come with the resale certificate or the builder's purchase documents.
Where it sits
The community is across FM 550 from City Hall at 1371 West FM 550 and close to State Highway 205; Toll Brothers' 2025 announcement gave the location as State Highway 205 and West FM 550. Windsor's page points to Lake Ray Hubbard, The Harbor, Harry Myers Park and Community Park for recreation nearby. We did not find a public park or amenity center inside the community on the builders' pages.
What to check before you buy here
Ask which builder holds the lot and get that builder's warranty terms in writing; the two builders sell different plans and terms. Ask which phase the lot is in and what construction is still planned around it. Windsor's page quotes a tax rate of 1.41 percent; confirm the current combined rate for the specific property with the Rockwall Central Appraisal District, and ask whether any public improvement district or special district assessment applies. We did not find one named for Ridge Pointe Estates on the builder or city pages we read, and we did not find a published final plat or adopted zoning ordinance, so the lot standards in the approved planned development are worth reading. On one-acre lots in McLendon-Chisholm, also ask the builder which water supply corporation serves the lot and how wastewater is handled, since neither builder page says.
